Tamia is a Special Educator Reading Interventionist with over 10 years of experience in diverse educational settings, including public schools, in-home services, and private tutoring. She is the author of “Mya’s Magic Methods,” a story designed to help children manage their “BIG feelings” and foster a love of reading.
Tamia holds a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Psychology with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis. Her extensive background has deepened her expertise in education, curricula, and literacy instruction. She is passionate about using a multi-tiered approach to educate families and school personnel on effective, research-based reading strategies.
